It has been a few weeks from my last post. I just got my craft room all done and i am moved in.. yahooooooo. so i have not been making anything lately.

I am looking for some feed back on a few things.
I have been trying the monthly online card tutorial with video classes
what do you think? If you have not tryed it why? ( price,not what you are looking for ,ex...)

Also i am thinking of doing some 8x8 scrap booking tutorials Price $3.50
I do not want to start this if i do not have enough people interested in it.
would you like this? is the price OK? any feed back would be great.

Also is there anything more you are looking for on my blog?

Hello Everyone, I hope you all had a great Christmas and bring in the 2012 year fun and safe! I know we just got over with Christmas and you are reading this blog title and saying Valentines. Well i have to make 20 of these for my little girls class for Valentines Day. So i needed to get started NOW! So i did a Video to show you how i made this Cute little pencil paper charms and maybe you would like to make them for a special Valentine in your life. I am going to put them in a bag with some little treat. I will have to post a photo of them all package up when i am done. Take a look at the Video at bottom of his page and give them a try!

Birthday Cake that i made

Here is a birthday cake that i did for my 2 year old nephew. He just loves mickey mouse club house. I made the base of mickeys with a 1/2 round ball cake, then the leg, foot, arm was done wit cup cakes. I use a Doctors glove for the hand and use 3 foam balls painted black for the head and ears, use a blue lickerish for the slide. it come out really cool and the kids just loved it. I had a lot of fun making it and to see his face when he seen the cake was the best!

I have been busy here the pass few weeks i hope to get a few more videos done before Christmas to share some of the thing i have been making.

Count Down to christmas

I got to working on this little count down to Christmas. I did this in one day and it was really easy and lots of fun. You could make this with your kids. I just use stickers. you can make this as easy as you want or go all out. take a look at the video below for more detail and ideas.

Christmas Card

Here is a fun Christmas card to make and it is really easy.

what i use for this card was
Top not sizzix Die punched out in cherry cobbler
Sizzix Swirly Front(not a stampin up item) i punch it out and use what i wanted for the Runner. to my liking
Trim was a 3/8" trim with little white Balls on them ( not sure of the name i call it snowball trim)
To make the gifts
punch out of pattern paper 6 gifts I did 1- word window, 3-1 1/4 sq punch, 2 Dog tag punch (retired stampin up punch) but you can just cut a 1 x 2 and you will have the same thing.

for the bows I used the Blossom bouquet triple layer punch and then add gems to top it all off.

i use black embossing power to stamp marry Christmas on the slide

Christmas Cards

Well today me and mom got together and did a few cards. It was so much fun. We need some one on one time together. We are going to try and get together once a week and do some cards. Here are the ones we did today.

This Frist card is a card that i seen on stampin connection so we had to try this one
we used the stocking punch and the bird punch to make the skates.

this next card is was done with the snow much sun stamp set.
i just love this set.

Here is a really cute thanksgiving/fall card.

what i used for this card was
5 1/2 x 4 1/4 whisper white base
4 fall color sq.
1 - 2 3/8 scalloped circle punch

I did a 1/2 score line around the out side of the card
to make the Turkey use the pattern below.

used gems and ribbon to dress it up.

Spinner and Mini Monsters Card

Fall or Thanksgiving Card

Here is a card that i seen on stampin connection. I just love the look of this card
here is what i did and Used to make this card

Base - 5 1/2x 4 1/4 whisper white and used Embossing Folder Perfect polka dots

Door Base 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 Black

Gray windows Cut one strip 11 x 1 then cut (4) 1/2" strips and cut (2)1 1/2"

Black bottom on door is 1 x 2 1/8 sponge in whisper white ink

For the pumpkins used Lg oval to make the big one punch out (3)
use 1" circle for middle size one punch out (3)
use 3/4" circle for the small one punch out (3)
sponge in pumpkin pie ink
layer them and ad a steams from the bird punch in crumb cake

for the black bird use the blossom punch and punch out the 2 smaller parts from the punch for the body and wing. sponge in whisper white.

for the reef Punch out a 1 3/8 circle punch in crumb cake and then punch over tat with 1 3/4 scallop circle punch

for the leavesuse the stocking punch the very small part that goes for the toes. punch out different colors.

I hope you enjoy this card as much as i did making it

Halloween Pumpkin Box

Hello everyone i know i have been away for the last few days. I have really been busy with craft shows and it is pumpkin time again so as you all know i have been painting pumpkins.
I helped my aunt get a baby album done and have been doing back to back workshops before all my costumers leave for warmer weather..
I also moved everything around in my craft space. well almost everything. As i said my costumers are leaving for warmer weather i wanted to give my costumers something spacial so i made these cute little pumpkin box with a paper apple inside. take a look at the video to see how i made them.

Christmas Planner

Here is a christmas planner that i made for myself this year. Me and my sister and other family members go out shopping on black Firday. This is going to be a big help to me this year.

so what i used for the planner was
Chipborad about 1/8 thick - 2 cut at 4 1/2 x 9 1/2 back and front cover
Pattern Paper 4 cut at 4 1/2 x 9 1/2 for front and back cover
1/2" x 12" binding wire anycolor
4 ennvelopes 4 1/8 x 9 1/2

Stocking Punch

Here is a card that i seen on stampin Connections. I had to give it a try. I changed the background and used Tim Holts Embossing folder. (the one that has fire place bricks) The stockings are from stampin up new Stocking Punch that is in the Holiday mini. There are so many things you can make with this punch. Using markers with Stamps

Sorry that i have not posted any new punch art or have posted anything new on my blog in the last few weeks. It seems that time has gotten away from me. With the kids going back to school. I have, had to change my Free time around so that i can help the kids with homework and get everything ready for the next day of school.

It is also the last week for racing. I am not sure if you have seen any of my video post on YouTube about my son racing. While the season has come to end. It seems like it went every fast, i am sad to see he racing season end but i am also glad to have my Saturday nights back.
I have been working on lots of things cards, 3-d items, baby book, much more...I will be posting them over the next few days and weeks. I am also going to post the new punch art this weekend. I have two workshop today so it may not get put up till Saturday. so keep your eyes out.

Well on to the card that i am going to share with you today.
It is a fall Card using markers. the stamp set is called Lovely As A Tree.
I have done a video on this card. I just love the look you get

Game Cards

Today i am going to share some cards that i made with my Aunt. We want to use playing cards to come up with some Cards for Birthdays. So we kinda did a Game Card theam.
The first Card is a card the i made. I seen this card on stampin Connection. I am not sure how it was done but this is what i did.
I took black card stock cut a 3 1/2 x 3 1/4
at the bottom use word window punch to make a spot for the ticket to come up out.
take 3 - 3/4 sq. and 3 heart punch. to make it look like a slot game.
to make the handle i just used a 1/4 by 3 gary card stock and used a circle punch on top. used gel pen to stich around the the card.

Today i wanted to show you a card that i made for my Nephew for his birthday. I used my construction Zone Punch Art tutorial. I used the cup cake punch to make the clouds and pill of dirt. For the Trees i used the Trendy Trees stamp set(113258). For the sun i use 1 3/8 circle punch and a retired punch called the horizontal slot punch but you could get the same look by using the cupcake candle in the cupcake punch. Well it has not been a good week here in the Mountford house.
We had a great 4th of July, But to make a long store short, My Laptop would not open windows, We trid for days. So we had to do a reboot which means anything i had on my laptop was lost..:( I had most things backed up but some of the things for the past few months was not.

Then On Tuesday when my Hubby was at the Doctors the Van would not start. So we have been with out a car for a few Days why it is getting Fixed.

Well with all this free time I have had lots of time to get things ready for my workshops, and craft fair. Over the next few Days i will share with you some of the things i have been working on.

today i am going to share some cards i made using the new in-colors. This is gong to be the card that we are going to make at my New Catalog party on Firday.

I am sorry that i have not been posting anything the last few days.
With school just getting out and i have a full plate of things to do this summer as we all do. I am going to try and get somethings posted this week. I am doing VBS this week.
I would like to share a photo of my son and his Race Car.. We just got this car for him. This is his first Race with it . He loves to race! I can not believe that he will be 16 this year and will driving on the real road. I will really have gray hair then..LOL

Birthday Card Popsicle punch art

Today i want to share a birthday card that i made for my Nephew for his birthday.
This card was so easy and fun.
You need to cut a 1" x 4" card stock in pumpkin pie and choc. chip.
Then take the wide oval and Put the paper in for the top and out the side to punch out the top around part. Do this to both ends of the paper.( this will make 4 Popsicles 2 each color)
Then you need to cut them at the 2" mark.
Then take the scalloped circle punch and punch out a piece in the top to look like a bite has been taken out of the Popsicle.

Now you need to do the same thing with whippers white card stock. This time just punch a little bit smaller bite. so that some of the white will show.

You can corner rounds the other end to make it look more like a Popsicle.
Then use a word window punch for the stick.
put all parts together and there you have your 4 Popsicles.

I hope to make a Free tutorials up on this by then end of the week.

wedding card

To day i want to share with a wedding card that i made. I have seen this idea out there by a lot of people and just had to try it. When i went to a meeting for stampin up one of the gals there made this wedding dress and i just loved it. so i had to put a little little man next to her. I made the man suit with the tag punch. Just cut it to look like a triangle .

Today I want to share a card with you that was emailed to me by a followers Barbara Green . She made a Carnation Out of punches. I also made this card with the details Barbara gave me. Here is the one i made. I just love this card and the look.

Here are the Details Barbara gave me.
used the boho blossom punch and folded the flower in half but off center. The first row had four, the second had three, the forth had two and the last row had one. The green was the small oval. Leaves were the small oval.

Bob has made it thought his surgery and is doing good. we certainly went through a lot of running here and there this past month getting him ready but all is well. He got his stitches out on Tuesday and can start moving his arm a little bit.

Hello Everyone,
I want to wish you all a Happy Easter. What a wonderful time of the year that we get to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus.
I hope you are getting in some good family time, I know we are!
We are cooking a ham dinner for 13 this year. Then going to my mom and dad later today. Kids go back to school on Monday. They only have about 5 or 6 week left where has the time gone?

I made this little card last night. I cased this card from Nikki( not sure of the last name)but i just love the card and she did a great job. I add a little dazzling diamonds to my flowers. i have a few more ideas i am going to try with this card.

Mother's Day Card

Here is a Mothers Day Card that i my for my mom this year. I Love this card for two reason.
One you are using up your scrap paper

Two the way this card looks like you have One sheet of paper but is realy 12 sq. on one sheet of whisper white So Cool!

I did two more Cards and truned them in to Birthday cards below.

Cute Easter Bonnet favoriter

Hello Gals,
I seen this Easter Bonnet video and had to try it. I had so much fun and they are so easy to make. I could see these as Dinner setting for Easter,church, a cute little thank you gift or in the kids Easter basket.
You can fill these with just about anything, after dinner mints , candy, buttons or just about anything.

I made the pink one for my down line she just had a baby girl. I add some baby buttons and ribbon for here to use on her scrap booking page.
The green one is the one i am going to give out to my workshop gals in May.

All you need is
Sizzix Bigz Die scallop Circle (113468) to make the button for the hat
You use 2 3/8 scallop circle (118874) to make the top
for the hat it self you use the stampin store containers (103649)
for the flowers i just used the 5 petal flower punch(119880)
and the boho blossoms punch (119858)
ribbon glue dots and brad
sticky strip (104294)
snail adhesive
embossing folders perfect polka dots (117335)

punch out the scallop circle with the sizzix and one with the punch and then run them throw the embossing folder
then take and put sticky strip on the bottom and top of the stampin store container
add the lg. scallop circle to the bottom and the sm one to the top of the stampin store container ( closer to the bottom)
then take your ribbon add snail to the back. add the ribbon around the out side of the stampin store container. make a bow and flower then add them to the bottom side of the stampin store container with a glue dot. (to see a easy way to make a bow with a fork go here)

Birthday Card

Here is a Card i made for my niece. I had a lot of fun making this card.
Here is what i did:
base card is 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 score at 4 1/4
from the scoreline 2 1/8" over cut(this is the front of the card that you are cutting)
take the cut off piece and using the scallop edge border, put a border down one side
then trim off 1" on the other side ( should be 1 1/8)

DS is 2" x 5 1/4 and 1/2 x 5 1/4
I punched out 6 hearts using the mover sharper heart (3 are for the back side)
and 3 hearts with the Lg heart punch
6 hearts with the heart to heart punch (3 small and 3 med)
and 3 hearts with the small heart punch.

I used a white gel pen to make lines on the hearts
modern label punch for greeting
the stamp set was tiny tiny wishes(happy birthday)

Ink-melon mambo, rish razzlberry ,and pacfic points
paper- melon mambo, rish razzlberry, pacfic point and whipper white.

Today i want to share a scrap booking page that i did. On Sunday me and my Friend Shannon got together and did some scrap booking i got a lot done but still have a lot to go.

I also forgot to post a list of what i put on my Coupons for my Valentine Coupon Book that i post a few days back so here is the list.

forgot to post what i wrote on the little cards. ON the to top of each card i put this coupon is good for
1.A Video or TV Show (rent a fun video or choose your favorite t.v show for us to which together)

3.Trip to the mall ( play in the boucehouse)
4. A Batch of cookies ( fun time baking together)

Stair Step Fold Card and tea light cake

Hello Gals,
Today i am going to share with you a few things that i have been wanting to make for sometime now. The first thing is the Stair step fold card. I just love the Stair step Fold Cards If you have not yet tried this card you should it is a lot of fun.
I see a Tutorial on this over at split coast stampers.

What you need for this Card is
Paper:
one 5 1/2 x 10 1/2 card stock crumb cake
three 1"x 6" so saffron
one- 4 1/4 x 2 1/4 Early Espresso
One- 4 x 2 whisper white

Stamp Set- just Believe,On your birthday, and well scripted

Ink -so saffron,early espresso

Other- ribbon, paper flowers, and a button

Punches-Decorative label punch and Eyelet Border (MS)

On long side score 1 1/4", 2 1/2", 4 1/4", 6" and 8 1/4"
Prefold all score lines (fold using the mountain/valley style ) up and down
Start Decorating the stair steps

The next thing i want to share with you today is the Tea light cake,
I also got this tutorial from split coast stampers
I just love the way this come out and i made this for my Aunts Birthday.
I wanted my cake to sing the happy birthday song .
so i went to the Dallor store and bought a card that sang happy birthday when you open it. took the card a part and me and hubby rewired everything and now when you turn the candle on it sings happy birthday.

Valentine Coupon Book
